I’m a 16-year-old volunteer at CORMIS and also the youngest member of the team. I joined CORMIS because I really connect with the values it stands for, especially inclusion, sustainability, and creating positive change within the community.
What I enjoy most about CORMIS is learning through real-life experiences. Over time, I’ve had the opportunity to take on different roles, from translation and supporting workshops to leading events, coordinating activities, and helping manage projects and community programs. These experiences have helped me become much more confident, open-minded, and proactive.
I enjoy trying new things and don’t like limiting myself to one specific role. Wherever support is needed, I’m always happy to step in. For me, every activity is a chance to connect with people, learn something new, and contribute to something meaningful.
CORMIS has also helped me step out of my comfort zone. As someone who used to be quiet, I’ve gradually become more comfortable working with others, speaking in front of groups, and taking the lead when needed. To me, CORMIS is more than just a place to volunteer — it’s a place where I’ve grown alongside a community that inspires me every day.
